1. Will I need to have a childcare qualification or experience?
No, neither is necessary. You will need to appoint a Nursery Manager with the relevant qualifications but we help with this very important task. Your role is more about running the business.

3. How much is the franchise fee?
The initial franchise fee is £25,000 + VAT and we also take an upfront minimum £5,000 (inclusive of VAT) marketing launch fee.
4. What is the Management Service Fee (MSF) percentage?
The Evolution Childcare management service fee is 8% (inclusive of VAT) of turnover (sales) and is paid on a monthly basis by direct debit.
5. How much does it cost to open a Evolution Childcare nursery?
While the initial franchise fee is fixed at £25,000 + VAT, each location is different and the investment required varies depending on the nursery size, state of the property leased or purchased and whether or not planning permission is required. However, as a rough guide, for a 50 place nursery you would be looking at a Total Investment in the region of £200,000 (including the first 12 months working capital).
6. How much money will I make?
It’s not possible to give exact figures because actual results will vary from nursery to nursery. However, if you work hard, follow our system, have a good customer base, manage your costs and use the tools and resources provided by us, you will be well on your way to running and owning a successful business with the potential to generate a healthy net profit by year 3.
7. Will I receive training?
Definitely! We deliver a comprehensive induction with all course materials and induction work books. The induction will take place at our Head Office in Cheshire – including time spent in one of our flagship nurseries. In addition, training will be delivered at your own nursery.
8. Do I have to negotiate a lease for my property if I don’t own it?
Whether you buy or lease a property we have lots of experience and professionals at hand to help you with lease negotiation. We know what is acceptable in the sector so rest assured you won’t get taken for a ride.
9. Do I have to order all my supplies and equipment through you?
No, you don't have to buy through us, we will however, recommend suppliers to you, so you can attract our discount rates.
